Hillary supporter (editor of Hillbuzz) sends letter to Limbaugh exposing the Democrat party

I’ve never been a fan of Hillary Clinton, and I’d even venture to say I despised her once upon a time. However, after the 2008 Democrat primary and witnessing the way in which she and her supporters were treated by Obama’s henchmen, I grew to respect her and even admire her. I even miss her husband desperately.

During that summer of ’08 I began to follow some message boards and blogs dedicated to defending Hillary’s honor and exposing the fraud and thuggery of the Democrat party. One such blog was HillBuzz. These people were livid with the way votes were stolen, and voters were intimidated into voting for Obama out of fear of being called a racist. It was fascinating to watch this division in the party unfold. I read story after story about SEIU thugs showing up at Caucuses and how outright illegal tactics were employed to make sure Obama won the primary. I found myself pulling for Hillary and wanting so badly for her to win and beat the Obama/Alinsky machine. I was afraid there was little chance of McCain winning the election, and I knew that Hillary would be so much better for this country than Obama.

I was impressed with many of these people, especially on the message boards of one particular site whose name I can’t remember for the life of me (I haven’t visited since the general election that year). There was a lot of animus that seemed to be driving these people to support and campaign for McCain/Palin, but I was glad for that support. They seemed to love Sarah and railed against attacks that tried to paint her as some stupid mom who wasn’t fit for office. These were feminists acting like true feminists and lauding a woman for her impressive achievements in life, regardless of her political views. They were impressed with her fearlessness in standing up to Rahm and Obama’s other Chicago cronies. It was unfortunate the top of the GOP ticket didn’t share that courage.

The election came and went and I stopped visiting these sites. I guess I thought they had gone back to the Democrat fold and wounds had healed. Well, apparently not! These were life changing wounds that left deep, deep scars.

Well, having said all that, let me give a link that you must visit. This is an open letter to Rush Limbaugh by HillBuzz editor in chief Kevin DuJan. It is a must read if you have any desire to understand what is going on in the Democrat party. It is a fascinating history and an important testimony to what we are fighting against when we vote on November 2nd and in 2012. It’s lengthy, but well worth your time.

New Ben Howe awesomeness!

NPR has lost their one rational liberal in Juan Williams.

So, Juan Williams has been fired from NPR. Why? Because of this:

Here’s what NPR says in response:

. “His remarks on The O’Reilly Factor this past Monday were inconsistent with our editorial standards and practices, and undermined his credibility as a news analyst with NPR,” the statement read.

Williams’ presence on the largely conservative and often contentious prime-time talk shows of Fox News has long been a sore point with NPR News executives.

His status was earlier shifted from staff correspondent to analyst after he took clear-cut positions about public policy on television and in newspaper opinion pieces.

First of all, he had already been demoted for not toeing the liberal line at NPR. Shame. NPR is partly funded with our tax dollars, and if any “news” organization should be more fair and balanced it’s NPR.

Secondly, being on FOX News, as a largely liberal pundit mind you, is a sore spot for NPR execs? I wonder if this is more of an anti-Fox thing?

Thirdly, NPR didn’t fire reporter David Kestenbaum when he implied, quite clearly and with zero evidence, that the Christian organization Traditional Values Coalition might have been responsible for the anthrax attacks on Congress some years ago.  A heinous implication with zero evidence to support it. SEE UPDATE BELOW

Fourthly, Juan Williams is one of the few liberal pundits that most people can stomach. Why get rid of the one guy on NPR which might win people over to the cause? Stupid.

I wonder how long it will be before Juan pulls a Tammy Bruce? He now has a first hand taste of the closed mindedness, bigotry and extremism of the left.

UPDATE: AllahPundit at HotAir has a better example of the double standard at NPR: Nina Totenberg wishing God would give Jesse Helms AIDS.

Beltway Adventure game

Those of us who grew up in the 70′s and 80′s will particularly enjoy this (because we remember when computer games were like this). The rest of you kids will like it to. Why? Because it is HILARIOUS. That’s why.

French students protest while American students sleep?

French students (high school and college) are protesting, along with the unions, the French government’s plan to raise the retirement age from 60 to 62. Now, this is not a post about the ridiculousness of such a protest. I mean, really. 62? Who wants to retire that early anyway? As it is these people have a good 20 years to do nothing but live off the government teet. They already have a 35 hour work week and a minimum of 5 weeks vacation a year (yes, 5 weeks!) as required by law. This doesn’t include bank holidays and such.

I’m not going to complain about France; what they do is their business. My complaint is about American young people. Why can’t they find the wherewithal to complain about what our government is doing to their future? I’m not thinking about health care necessarily because so many have obviously bought the line that this will be good for them. I’m thinking more along the lines of social security reform and the skyrocketing national debt that will need to paid one day. No protests telling the government to privatize social security. No riots (or even grumblings) from kids about wasting their future. No car burnings. No walkouts. No barricading our schools.

Now, I have many ideas why and I will share them later, but I want to know what you think. Why are our kids so lackadaisical? Why don’t they think about their future and demand the old folks stopped screwing it up?

Mark Steyn:”Mollifying Muslims, and Muslifying Mollies”

If you don’t know Mark Steyn, you really need to get to know him. He is one of the few brave voices left in the West willing to speak up against the despicable double standard against critics of Islam. Here’s a little sample from Mark’s perspicacious pen (that’s my hand at a bit of alliteration there). Read the whole thing. You will not be disappointed. The title itself is classic Steyn.

Funny money quote:

Given his highly selective enthusiasms, you can hardly blame a third of Americans for figuring their president must be Muslim. In a way, that’s the least pathetic explanation: The alternative is that he’s just a craven squish. Which is odd considering he is, supposedly, the most powerful man in the world.

New RGA video: “4 weeks”

Socialist, the new Ben Howe video

Another great video from Ben Howe…without further comment…

Rahm is dissed in Chicago

I was watching the news last night on mute (sometimes, the best way to watch), and there was Rahm Emanuel in Chicago on the subway. I’m guessing he was there hoping to capture for the cameras some great moments of love. It seemed to me that he was getting the cold shoulder. It looked as if most people were avoiding shaking his hand, and this was quite amusing.  I’m not the only one who noticed this, and I bet if I had the volume up I might have heard the same thing in the commentary. Jim Geraghty has a great caption, and though not approved for such a family site as this (hee), hits the nail on the head. Breitbart has some video for your enjoyment.

Unintended consequences? No, not really.

So McDonalds is asking the feds to “waive restrictions on the mini med plans” or else it will be forced to drop health insurance for at least 30,000 employees who will be forced to use government health care (which doesn’t kick in until 2014) . Dan Foster at NRO sarcastically tweets that this is an unintended consequence. It’s not. This is by design.
